Aston Fire Station Library and Heritage Space

This project was designed for multiple clients, so fitting all their needs was key! The brief given by the clients was to design heritage rooms and a library within the existing part of a listed fire station. The original building was being retained and extended for modern use, so the old living quarters were free to be used for the heritage rooms and library.

The colour scheme came from the original plaque, on the outside of the building, and was continued throughout the spaces.

The clients had a limited budget so sourcing affordable furniture and materials was key. In addition a way finding method was designed as the building had various small corridors.

The project will be built in the coming months.
